tohode is a personal project in beta, offered free and by invitation. Using it means accepting the following.

It may break

This is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. Event information is gathered automatically from other people's listings and may be wrong, out of date, or missing. Check with the venue before you travel. Nobody here is liable for a wasted journey, a cancelled show, or anything that happens at an event.

It may go away

There is no guarantee of uptime, no guarantee your data will survive, and no guarantee the service will continue to exist. Keep your own copy of anything you would miss. Reasonable notice will be given before shutting down, and you can delete your account at any time.

What you post

You keep ownership of events you post; you grant permission to display them to the audience you chose. Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or that you have no right to share. Do not use tohode to organise anything illegal. Events breaking these rules, and the accounts posting them, can be removed without notice.

Other people

Events are posted by other people and pulled from public listings. Their accuracy, safety and legality are not vouched for. Meeting strangers from the internet carries the risks it has always carried; use your judgement.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself. Accounts are personal and invitations are not for resale. Accounts may be suspended for abuse, for attempts to break or overload the service, or for scraping other people's data out of it.

The software

The tohode name, source code and design are the property of their author and are not licensed for reuse. Third-party components carry their own licences.

Changes

These terms may change. Each version is dated, and the version you agreed to is recorded against your account and shown on your account page. Material changes will be announced before they take effect and will ask you to agree again; cosmetic edits will not.
